Some safety courses are now required by law and this is set to rise within the UK, with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) aiming to increase the awareness of a range of health and Safety legislations that apply to the work place in the UK. From the beginning of March 2018 many workers in the construction industry must have at least 10 hours of safety training by law. All staff should be trained in safety training courses within their scope.
